I was really worried about the weather, but I'd consulted all my apps, and, uh, it's not going to rain until at least midday.
I mean, given that it's early June, it's worth pointing out that the sky is gray and low.
Yesterday, our swimming spot was shut on and off all day because of thunder and lightning.
I actually found the weather fine in the end because I was so worried about rain that because it didn't rain, I thought I'd been really lucky.
One was it had cooled a bit, and so you had the interesting thing of the water being warmer than the outdoor temperature.
So the outdoor temperature was something like 15, and the water temperature was 20, which is weird.
I've experienced this in the past, and I've always felt like as I got in, it would feel colder getting in, and I go, "This isn't true." But then as I come out, I can feel that the water is warmer than the air because the air feels cold at the end of the swim.
Or was it that the temperature-- Was it almost like when you're in the tropics where it was so much warmer, it was really obvious that the water's warmer?
