It's day two of AFFD! And another version of Driving While Screaming where Jason tells you which films you should seek out, and which ones you can maybe skip…
This really quiet, beautiful, meditative film about kind of human loneliness and As opposed to animal loneliness, I guess.
It's mainly about this female screenwriter who writes movies and television shows.
And the first part of the film, we see her starting to write a script out longhand.
And we break into this... sequence where these two young people meet in this seat in this coastal town and kind of they're somewhat outcasts not outcasts I guess because they're kind of by themselves and they connect and they the film then pulls back and it's this kind of meta meta moment in the movie where we're watching the film that she wrote and And there's students asking questions about the film.
And then eventually she goes off on her own to ride again out to this kind of mountainous city.
Obviously, you know, a mountainous village, if you will, in this, in again now, what kind of a winter scene.
It's hard to talk about the plot of this film because there's not really much to the plot.
It really is more... just watching two people interact and be human around one another.
I'll need to look up and I'll post in kind of not necessarily in the, in the show notes, but like we'll post online and we'll, we'll be promoting this movie quite a bit.
Uh, and if it does get a release or you guys can see it, uh, we're going to be shouting it from the, from the rafters, because I think this is a really one.
