yeah it's a lot innit and I think that I kind of lost the fun out of my life a bit and I realized life's too bloody short oh my god we are all strapped to a piece of rock that is hurtling through space um and like at the end of the day in 100 years no one is going to remember you no one's going to remember me all of our stuff we own today that we're working so hard to pay for is going to be sold and disappear into the ether so like actually i thought i need to get out there and i need to have a bloody laugh i need to find the fun again and i realized that so many people are going through so many difficult things and when you go to a drag show you kind of just lose yourself forget the outside world for an hour and a half um or two hours or three hours or however long the show is and you kind of just you're able to laugh with your friends and just be present in that moment and laugh about things you can't laugh about i mean there's so many serious things you can't say boo to a goose these days and i think that especially in my shows i kind of although i am sensitive to a lot of areas there's also a part of it where like this is a safe space to laugh about things you you wouldn't be able to
laugh

I work at this bar my boss said to me would you not start it back and I thought you know what yeah yeah I will damn right I will so we set a date and then the penny dropped and I realized okay okay we're actually doing this now tickets are on sale I have not got a stitch of any sound equipment or wigs costumes promotional material I thought I need to get my ass into gear and for once it's those things like when people go i want to start the gym i want to do this i think just committing or booking something and holding yourself accountable will put your ass into gear so yeah if you're ever trying to do something just set the day to lock it in and you now know that regardless

what happens huge that's happening on that date so i did i got a lot of the i kept the name miss penny dropped well i didn't come up with the name miss penny dropped the wonderful dixie swallows came up with that if you haven't listened to her episode she was the first episode i released um and she's absolutely fantastic she's out in turkey living a best life um and i can't i appreciate it very much for the help she gave me in the early days But yeah, I just wanted to be fun.
