Glee" Coming Back For A New Season On Disney+ & Hulu | Disney Plus News

So 20th Television is gonna be behind it.

They put out a social media post saying it's official, it's happening, they're bringing back Glee.

And Ryan Murphy has been confirmed that he has at least written the pilot, and it's been given a full series order.

So it's not mu- literally just a pilot, it's been given a full series order for Disney+ and Hulu.

Though in reality, by the time this show gets out there, I suspect Hulu will pretty much be gone by then anyway.

But nevertheless, it's going to be under both brands, and I think this is a big step going forward because Disney is in desperate need of shows which appeal to families, to teenagers, to adults, and Glee was one of those shows.

The show launched back in 2009 and ran for six seasons.

It was a big success, won lots of Emmys, made some big stars out of the people that were in it.

Big music as well.

I just remember Don't Stop Believin' just was a ma- it just came out of nowhere.

I don't think I'd even heard of that song until the show came out.

I'll be honest, I think I only watched the first season.

I didn't really continue with it.

Wasn't my kind of thing.

But Ryan Murphy definitely has a big part of Disney and 20th Television.

He's working on so many different shows.

Obviously 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville.

He worked on The Shards earlier this year.

American Horror Story, which has just been picked up for a 14th season.

Now he's working on this.

He is a very busy, busy person.

And I think, yeah, Glee definitely seems to be one that he's been working on for a while.

There's been talk of a revival for many years.

There's also been reports that there's been, um, talks with about 10 cast members of the previous show.

Now, how they're gonna bring them back, who knows? Nothing's really official.
