I had an email.

I had a weird email, as did my mother.

And we can't think for the life of us why my mother got it as well.

Beefeater restaurants are closing down after dinner on Thursday the 10th, which is what? About two days time as we record this.

I don't know.

I presume it's because I've booked with Beefeater in the past and I'm on some ancient mailing list of theirs.

But anyway.

It's a sign of the times.

All beef eater restaurants, not only our local one, are closing down and will be no more by the time we record our next show.

I don't really care, but it's a sign of the movement of the times, isn't it?

I got an email.

Incidentally, I'm still two and a half years later monitoring my mum's, my late mum's Gmail account.

And she got a email from Table Table that they're closing all their Table Table places on the 3rd of September, which is tomorrow as we record.

Wow.

Now, for people that don't know, Table Table will tend to be alongside Premier Inns.

I'm guessing they're part of the same group as Beef Eater, if they're all doing this.

I don't know.

We need to clarify then, because I'd misunderstood.

I thought Table Table was an online booking website, but Table Table is also the name of an eatery, is it?

Yeah, it is.

Wow.

They tend to be next door to Premier Inns.

They have said in this email, they said that they are going to protect dining arrangements for people staying in Premier Inns.

I've no idea how they're going to do that.

Because presumably they're closing the table tables and the beef eaters in order to sell them off and make money.
