I believe that there is no, I mean, maybe there are bigger, but there is not a bigger public boys club space in the international sphere of sports.
It's a non-universal language and men tend to believe that that they universally own sports.
Sports is a human activity, and as such, it is subject to interpretation and to change.
And as such, I also want to tell you, don't ever, ever, ever let anyone tell you you know nothing about sports.
Because what does it mean to know about sports? Does it mean to know about the rules? Does it mean that you know the statistics? Does it mean that you know tactics? Does it mean that you know fashion? Does it mean that you know about politics or you know about the intersection of all of the above? And who cares? Let people enjoy things.

I mean, I do believe that we need also to emancipate ourselves in terms of us understanding that Joy does not have a membership card that is issued by the men's club.
We are entitled to joy and we are entitled to have fun and we are entitled to like things, even if we don't have the broad, like the broadest data and understanding of everything.
So please, you and all of the women listening to us, don't ever, and even men, you know, men of the LGBTQ community, which have been ostracized from sports, don't ever let anyone tell you you don't know about sports.
For me personally, the politics of colonization and the World Cup had me in a chokehold.
Knowing that European teams were basically made up predominantly of the same African slash brown folks that they're always like, oh, close our borders.
Would you be at the World Cup? If these people were not here, no, you would not.
