Donna MillsHostNicholasGuestAnd he was so special taking me around backstage for you guys so that you could see the workings of Wicked on Broadway backstage.
So anyway, he's, I'm just gonna give you a couple of things I wanna tell you about a stage manager.
They're either standing right off the stage reading cues, or they're in their, uh, own box somewhere in the theater, and they're watching through film and, not film, but whatever they have to look at the stage, and they call the cues.
Now, the cues, there's 300 of these cues, and whenever they're calling the cues, it's a signal.
It's a signal that triggers either a lighting cue or a sound effect or the set movement.
And I, I wanted to tell you about the actress in the movie who played the role that I played, Madame Morrible, who was quite horrible.
Uh, Michelle Yeoh, right? She was wonderful in it.And that movie had so many Oscar nominations.
And so first what we're gonna see, if I can get my notes in order, we're gonna be calling out some videos for you guys, and I will talk about the videos when I can find whatever [laughs] I'm supposed to find here.
[laughs] Okay, well, you can see it's all out of order, but I'm gonna talk a little bit about first, because you're gonna see this, the quick change room.
But a quick change room is, uh, sometimes the actors on stage, they run off stage.
