Well, good morning.
Hello, everyone.
Yeah, g- finally getting some needed rain here.
Uh, it was interesting, yesterday hit 95, which not only broke the record by five degrees, it was the hottest day of, recorded for October, the whole month, ever.
So yeah, finally getting some cool weather.
Could be 60s on Friday and lows 40.
Ooh.
Turn on the furnace Friday night.
So one extreme to the other here.
Uh, but yeah, uh, so we missed you.
I was, uh, en route flying home last week and had a great time out in the Phoenix area, Phoenix and Tempe.
Went to two different ham radio stores, including one out in the, they call it West Valley.
It was real neat, just eight or nine folks just sitting around a table, all ready to talk, and very excited.
Always excited when a older man brings a younger man in, father-son, getting them into the hobby.
I didn't know that.
He just went there and ended up buying two radios, and I was like, "Okay, cool." [laughs] So, um, we had a good time with this music industry, uh, instrument museum.
There were over 10,000 instruments there from all over the world.
It's crazy.
Um-
Wow
... you can't really touch the stuff, but you have these headphones and you walk up to the different displays, and you get to hear all the different kinds of music.
And they had, you know, the decades, '60, '70s, '80s, '90s, and it's different, and sorted by continent.
Um, so that wa- that was pretty cool.
Uh, and I was glad that I went with two people, 'cause each gave me different bits of information about, you know, what they were seeing and stuff.
So, uh, just a really good time out there, and, uh, helped get me refreshed and kinda get me looking at things in a new way, bigger picture.
