One night flying across the country, like I said, I fly for UPS, and a gentleman shared a story of a young man that was a close friend of his, and he was telling me the story of the tragic loss of his leg.
And then he showed me videos of this young man now, 23, 24 surgeries later, uh, standing on this incredible bionic prosthetic.
And immediately in, in my, in my mind, I'm like, you know, we have, we have veterans that don't have that type of device.
And, and, uh, Uh, I'm a person of very strong faith and I literally, literally heard a voice in my mind that said, listen to this and do something with it.
Um, it took a year and a lot of praying and a lot of talking with my wife and my kids.
We, we got all the corporate documents filed and then I started passing out the invites, uh, to potential board members.
And I remember telling my wife after I sent out the last engagement letter, I said, now I'm terrified.
And she goes, why? I said, because the kayak's in the rapids and I can't get out anymore.
