July 26, 2026 - Knowing God's Will

How do I know God's will? How do I know? If it's God's will, if it's God speaking to me, or if it's just me justifying what I want to do, how do I know for sure? And I'm so glad if you asked that question.

I'm so glad when that question has been asked of me.

And hear me, I have asked that same question myself a lot, actually.

And I'm glad we're asking that question because we should be asking that question.

That is an important question to ask because when we don't ask or when we stop asking, chances are we've shut God out.

When we don't ask or when we stop asking, chances are we've shut God out.

Chances are we may not care to really know the answer if we're not taking time to ask the question.

Chances are we aren't listening for God and chances are we don't actually know if God has a will for us to follow if we aren't stopping to wonder.

It is the wonder that leads us to know God's will.

So Do you remember VeggieTales? Oh, good.

Yeah.

We love VeggieTales, don't we? I'm glad for the agreement because if you've known a child in the last 20 years or if you've been in a church in the last 20 years, you know VeggieTales.

But that is not true for everybody.

So if you don't know VeggieTales, they are awfully cute, aren't they? I'm going to tell you about them.

That is what they are.

They are cute.

They are cute cartoon vegetables, and they tell Bible stories.

That is who they are, and we love them.

Michaela, can I tell on you? Peg Carson says that means I have to pay you now.

When Michaela was little, she watched VeggieTales and she called them her heroes.

Isn't that the most? I love it.

Anyway, we have Larry the Cucumber.

Wait, is that right? Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato.

Thanks.

Thanks
