Resort Review: Disney's All-Star Movies Resort | The Most Disney Value Resort?

Hi everybody, welcome to this week's resort review.

This week we are going to review another value resort.

It is one of the all-star resorts.

It's the All-Star Movies Resort.

Crystal, you wanna kick it off with the

resort snapshot? So this is a value resort, like Julie said, and it is located in the Animal Kingdom Resort area.

I don't think we ever really think like that, just because we always think Animal Kingdom's off on its own, but it is pretty close over there.

It opened January 15th, 1999, and has approximately 1,920 rooms.

There are 10 guest buildings, and they have three floors.

Transportation here is bus only.

and there isn't any sort of DVC.

There are no suites here.

That is a different All-Stars.

This resort does not sleep five.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is the most overtly Disney of the value resorts, featuring oversized icons and immersive theming from fun and beloved films, including Toy Story, Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, The Love Bug, and The Mighty Ducks.

So this resort can be good for first-time Walt Disney World visitors, just kind of getting your feet wet, especially if you are trying to have more of a budget.

You're trying to get to Walt Disney World, still experience it without spending too much money on the resort, and you have a lot of plans to stay in the parks for most of the day.

Another thing that This resort is well known for, actually all of the All-Star resorts are known for, is because of its proximity to the ESPN wide world of sports.

It's always hard for such a tongue twister to say that.

I always say it wrong.

Because of the proximity to that sports complex, there's a ton of sports teams that stay here.

So this is something that you definitely want to consider, especially if you're going at particular times of year whenever they're having those tournaments.

There are going to be tons of sports teams there.

cheer, soccer, baseball, volleyball, like all the things.

They have huge facilities over there, and this resort or group of resorts is right next to it.
