Wake-Up Call With Bill Lundun & Mandy Beemer

How can you get that out of there? How do you just say, no, that's not what it's like?
And I will say that a lot of the feedback that we get from our performances these days is that it's fun, that it's an experience.
You know, we did this fun opening night this past Thursday where it was, you know, people could dress up.
My favorite was a guy wearing a tuxedo and underneath the tuxedo he had on is Eugene Symphony.
And I think a lot of the atmosphere of the symphony that you're describing comes from Sitting in a seat, being told when to clap, being told what to wear, being told how to experience the performance.
But I would say at the Eugene Symphony, even in our masterworks performances like last Thursday night, where it can feel or the perception is a little buttoned up.
I go on stage, I ask people who were there for the first time, get a huge round of applause for that.
