[piano music] Throughout 2026, Voices of British Ballet is celebrating the life and legacy of Ninette de Valois to mark the centenary of the Royal Ballet School.
In this episode, we're revisiting some recordings that were made at a conference about Ninette de Valois, which was mounted by the Royal Ballet School in April 2011 to mark the 10th anniversary of her death.
In the studio with me is Daniel Pratt, who was until quite recently first soloist with the Sarasota Ballet in Florida, and who is also a writer on dance and the arts.
Daniel has been exploring some of the interviews collected by Voices of British Ballet at that conference.
