So what we see is most people start their day reactive right from the beginning.

They immediately wake up, they're checking social media, check their messages, check their email, check their client communications instantly.

Instantly, they've got so much stress going on, but it's usually not on the most important things that matter.

So what we need to do instead is take a step back and set the proper structure so that we set ourself up to win, right? If you win the morning, you win the day.

You win the day, you win the week, you win the week, you win the month, the quarter of the year, right? So what we've got to do is win the day first.

So what we do is just have this simple process called done by 1030, where every single day, no matter if you start...

Start your day with two hours of deep work, working on the most important initiative that's going to drive your business forward.

Sometimes it's a people thing, right? Sometimes it's something else, but what's the most important thing that you can work on? If you just do that for two hours in the morning, first, before you get into the reactive stuff, you're going to win the day just all by 1030, right? You could take a step back and you can chill or you can go handle the rest of the business, which is what most people do.

But I know I remember a couple of times I've been like, now, Austin, this whole done by 1030 thing, you know that I have four kids and I am not getting up at the time that you get up like that does not work for me.
