Pastor's Mistress Texts EXPOSED in Wife's Murder Trial!

Years ago, Caleb Flynn received a golden ticket to Hollywood on American Idol as a singing pastor.

And when he was arrested for the murder of his wife, many wondered, why would he do it? That question was answered today in opening statements.

If I could literally kill her and not go to hell...

I would do it in a heartbeat.

Those two messages are Caleb Flynn's own words.

The words about his wife, Ashley.

Words communicated to his mistress.

Now Caleb Flynn is on trial for murder, facing life behind bars for the ultimate betrayal.

So who is Caleb Flynn? Well, 13 years ago, he was an American Idol contestant.

And when he was on that show, he talked about how much he loved his very, very pretty wife.

He's also a singing pastor, someone who got up on stage on Sundays and sang about the Lord to the folks in the church.

He's also a cheating husband.

So the question is, who will this jury think Caleb Flynn is? A singing pastor who loved his wife or a cheating husband who killed his wife? I'm Vinny Palatane.

Let's investigate.

This trial, unfortunately, may end up being a cliche, a story we've seen many, many times on Court TV.

But let's talk about Caleb Flynn.

Caleb Flynn, first in the public spotlight as an American Idol contestant, a golden ticket winner who got that trip to Hollywood and his chance at fame and fortune didn't really turn out for him that way.

He was eliminated relatively quickly, but did get to Hollywood.

So he's got some talent.

And he used that talent as a singing pastor.

Now, a singing pastor is someone who loves music and loves God and sings about and worships the Lord.

And that's what he was doing for a while, but maybe he didn't pay the bills that well.

And that career also was sidelined.

Now, let's talk about the victim here as well, his wife, Ashley, a mother of two.

Someone who believed in Caleb, someone who supported Caleb as his attempt at fame, his attempt at being the singing pastor, dedicated her life to him and to their family.
