Is Scottsdale the perfect place for a reality show?

Reality shows in Scottsdale sound like a match made in, I don't know, a few feet below heaven maybe.

But still, a pretty enticing combo.

Which is why it's surprising that more haven't been made there.

Other reality shows take field trips to the city, known by locals as Snottsdale.

There's a new show in Scottsdale that lives up to, or really down to, all the cliches associated with the city.

Teen Moms Baseball takes place in and around Legendary Prep Academy, a private school in Scottsdale that teaches baseball, mostly, and for a couple hours a day, all the other stuff you learn in school.

It comes from Kim Kardashian and the producers of Love Island USA Today, which gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect.

If you've ever seen the show Dance Moms, that's the basic template.

This show focuses, like that one, more on moms, and in this case dads too.

The kids are basically collateral damage.

There's backbiting and gossiping among rich, mostly white people.

It's pretty gross for the most part, though intermittently entertaining, in that way that makes you feel like you need a shower afterwards.

Like most reality shows, it has very little to do with reality.
