I've got to tell you that President John Romani Muhammad will be making some key appointments to the Electoral Commission of Ghana in the coming months.

For members of the National Democratic Congress, they've been fighting off and allegations that they are the masterminds behind the reason for which the Deputy Commissioner of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Bosman Asare, is now leaving post.

When that happens, two individuals at the topmost tier of the Electoral Commission will no longer be at post before the 2028 elections, which will now give space to the NDC administration to fix what they believe is wrong with the composition of the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

But what will happen? to the institution itself and its leadership going into the future.

That's the conversation we're having, and what are the reactions of political parties to this? We'll assess all of that and more, but here's Government Communications Minister, Felix Kwa-Chew, dispelling all of these rumours earlier at a news conference where he says government has simply no hands in the fate of these commissioners that are exiting the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
