Chris FrickeHostThe whole story starts.
My buddy, he got kicked out from his parents' house.
He was homeless for a little bit.
He didn't have a lot of money, had a poor job.
He was probably 22, 23, didn't have a lot of prospects.
He was trying to just find a little security, right? So what happened is he finds a house that's on bank auction.
So it was like foreclosed and it was super, super cheap.
But the house was a pit.
Like it was a complete wreck.
He buys the house.
I'm his best friend at the time.
And I was living at the time I had moved back home with my parents while I was going to school for CNC machining.
I move into the house with him for short term just to help him get things like set up, cleaned up, all that stuff.
And the house was a pit.
I'm pretty sure there were some squatters living there.
There's trash, there's pillows, blankets all over.
Candles were melted all over the house.
there's water humidity issues you probably got a little bit of mold at the time there was even like spray paint on the walls there's holes the ceiling at the time completely like not caved in but the drywall caved in so i move in the house with them and we
start cleaning
and start
painting
i brought like an air mattress i'm sleeping on the front floor so then one night we're like okay the house the floors are clean upstairs is painted because he had some guys coming to fix the drywall on the ceiling.
But, you know, he needed to try to keep moving, progressing.
So he's like, let's go take care of the backyard.
The grass was like three foot tall.
