You know, much like curb cuts help people who are pushing strollers and shopping carts, not just only people who are using wheelchairs.
You know, what keeps coming to mind is... another one of our favorite guests, Becca Laurie Hector, and Becca talking about, I didn't even know how to ask for help until I was an older teenager.
Nobody taught me that there's this concept of asking for help and that it's okay to ask for help.
Now, I'm not... necessarily focusing on the health piece, but just this sense, this mindset of self-determination.
And it just kind of struck me that even when I go to a medical setting now, again, for it might be a regular checkup, I feel like a kid going to the principal's office.

Why would I come back to this? I come back because I can cortically override it.
