And so maybe let's talk a little bit about because before we started recording we were yapping for probably almost two hours.

And we covered so much ground like I low key wish I got all that was recorded as well.

But it's OK, because we were sharing or like commiserating to a certain extent about grad school and like the trials and tribulations related to it.

And I think it's a discussion worth having because I don't feel like many people talk about it.

And, you know, if there are people in grad school listening or people thinking about going to grad school or going back to school, I think it's best to just have kind of the cards on the table so you know what to anticipate.

And you also know how to set yourself up for success.

So I'm definitely going to have some things to share and riff on here, but maybe we can talk a little bit about some of the hurdles that you've had to jump over as well as it relates to finding success and like paving your way through this stretch of your education.

Yeah.

So I mean, even from the beginning, when I started applying, being told, you know, you're not going to get into these programs.

Who knows what I would have applied to.

But I also did not know what I was getting myself into.

I know it seems better than a PsyD because the PsyD you're paying for.

And that's five years of doling out a lot of money per year.

And so when I got recruited, it seems like a great opportunity.

You know, you're paid a stipend.

You have to teach.

You're getting that experience.

And I was like, I want to be a professor.

So that fits nicely into that is the only avenue you can kind of go down.

So, OK, now I'm in this school.

programmed to be a professor.

That's great.

I have a trajectory that like I'm moving towards.

It's a clear path.

But then you start to realize going through the program, it's not so clear.
