Well, there's been quite a few protests over the weekend, and there's one even going on right now up on the south coast in the UK.

And I've made the point many a time, as Gareth has, as many other people online have as well, is that eventually...

If you raise a genuine grievance and you're just ignored, you're just ignored, condemned, silenced or told you're wrong or you're racist or you're whatever, eventually there comes a line where you think, well, I'm going to have to do something myself.

If someone's breaking into your house and you phone the police, you shout it out the windows for help, you phone neighbours, you've done everything.

There comes a point when you start to think, okay, well, I'm going to have to deal with this myself then, aren't I? I'm going to have to try and defend this myself.

And the reaction of people for quite a while now in various different contexts, dating right back to, I think, the Southport atrocity a couple of years ago, where you saw how quickly... people mobilized and created mass protests and mass chaos, and some of which obviously spilled over too much.

But the anger and the resentment at being ignored was clearly just under the surface, and it took one catalyzing event for that to happen.

And it's always felt like that's been the case ever since, that one catalyzing event That will all go again.

Well, over the weekend, there's been a mass protest on the port of Dover, which is obviously the smallest gap between Britain and mainland Europe along that Kent coast.

We've had a very lovely summer, so there's been lots of calm weather, and therefore it's been an incredibly... busy time for small boats crossings small boat crossings and people have had enough so let's have a look at this this is a video of what this protest looked like down in dover over the weekend
hundreds of masked men dressed in black storming the port of dover they're marching through the streets stop the small boat crossings was their message.
To deliver it, they stopped the traffic.
The government told Sky News they disagreed with the disruptive protest tactics.
Peaceful protest, essential part of British life, but that's not dressing up in costumes like this and disrupting people's lives, so I would condemn it.

As you can see, you've got Hundreds of men masked, all in black, which I don't like that bit.

You know that people have been sent to prison for protesting, some of which weren't actually doing anything at all.
