hey it's pipsqueak again out here on the appalachian trail and uh today i guess i'm going over uh the physical adjustment and kind of seeing how my body has kind of adapted uh since the start of the trail so um how does my body feel now compared to earlier on in the hike well I don't know I kind of felt like I had my trail legs earlier and now they're just kind of kind of tired all the time but uh I've lost a lot of weight and most of that weight has been in my legs so I don't really have any fat left on the legs it's just all muscle now which kind of like that but um kind of need to lose that belly fat too at some point um You know, I haven't really had many blisters.

I've just started to get some since my ultras have started to fall apart.

Has there been, like, a physical issue so far that I just can't shake? Not really.

And, uh, I'm just getting tired earlier in the day and I, you know, I just keep on pushing through, but, um, Have I had to change anything like gear, my pace, routine, anything to manage that? So haven't really, haven't really changed a whole lot.

I am starting to wake up later in the day or later in the morning and then get it going on that.

But in terms of physical aspect of it, I feel like my body's doing pretty good.

I think a lot of people get... worried that they're gonna get injured or they're gonna twist an ankle or stuff like that and I Don't know.

I just I always kind of feel like Nothing is gonna go wrong and therefore it doesn't so so far everything's going about as as good as you could could imagine so Do I feel stronger at this point or more worn down I Oh, so, you know, there are certain days where I just feel like I can just go all day and, you know, I could push a 30 or 40 mile day.

And then there's other days where I'm like, ah, I can only do about 10 miles a day.

So, um, I don't see either way as being stronger or, uh, more worn down.
