What's going on? Well, our adventurers have been sneaking around the Tomb of Zeloan, which is, like, an ancient underground, uh, kind of burial site for a giant that, uh, seems to be made out of onyx.
And a shard from that giant is what is causing all these troubles, 'cause it has caused a curse.
And a criminal organization has set up a, a shop here where they're mining evil magic onyx, and they are doing strange experiments with the souls of some of the people who were interred here in this tomb.
Uh, Adino the mage is kind of a jerky, gnomish, uh, mage they're about to fight.
Uh, he has a hulking clay golem bodyguard, and TBD has basically confronted them, uh, confronted him.
And I am going to give our adventurers a surprise round because Adino is very surprised about what's going on.
From what I remember, I, I slapped a, um, shard of obsidian down on the table.
Yes, he was very startled to see the cursed shard, um, which shouldn't be here because it should be far away from here, where it's causing trouble to somebody.
So on a surprise round, um, our, uh, Adino and the clay golem are in the initiative order, but they will not go.
Uh, you all go, and then we'll, we'll go into kinda normal combat, uh, after that.
