Predators @ Maple Leafs - 1st Period - October 6th, 2026

The Predators fumble the puck at center ice and then send it back into the Leaf zone, far side.

Picked up behind the net by Stolarz.

He has to move that up along into the corner.

O'Reilly right there for the Predators, able to keep it in, but now the Leafs work back down the left side and into the Predators' zone.

A try, trying to cut to the net there was Roslovic.

Now he steps in and lets one fly.

It goes off a skate, back up high to the line, kicked down deep by McCabe.

Matthews dragging it out of the corner, far side.

Marchenko picks it up off the boards.

Still working it.

Gets it back up to the blue line, far point.

This puck goes off a stick, and Matthews tries to keep it in.

This puck is magnetic to the Predators at the moment.

Hitting off shin pads and sticks and back through the middle.

Here's Tanev, tries to bring it, does not work out.

The Predators bang it back into the Toronto zone, trying to pull it back off the blue line.

Back the other way on the attack, here's Nylander as he hangs on down the near side wall.

Gives it over to McKenna, back round behind for Nylander, behind the goal, and he's gonna hang on and survey the situation.

Then backhand and a big shot off the pads from McKenna.

That got the crowd interested.

Right back onto his backhand just above the blue line.

Predators steal it from there.

Back around for Stolarz.

He quickly moves it to Ekman-Larsson nearside.

McKenna farside, off the boards, and now Nylander gets to the red line and sends it into the Predators' zone.
