In this episode we answer the questions: How significant is aviation for your personal impact, and what practical things can you can do about it?
Chris PocockHostNathalie SeppkeHostI don't know about you, Chris, but for me, flying is something actually quite personal.
Already, my mom, for example, she lives on the Canary Islands, and there's, quite frankly, no other way to get there except with the plane.
But also things like traveling, you know, holidays, seeing other cultures is something that I associate quite positively.

Like when I got out of uni, I spent like nine months going around Southeast Asia.

I actually think it had quite a real impact on who I ended up becoming as a person and Like I think being able to like see other parts of the world, see other cultures, like it's such an important part of growing up.

So, yeah, similar to you, like holidays less so for me because I'm quite able to like go places that are near to home these days.

But even that is like dependent on me being able to spend like slightly more expensive money, money on slightly more expensive train tickets and things like that.

So like, yeah, for me, it's like unlocking things that I just would not have otherwise at all been able to do.
To be honest, this one thing that you just said, you wouldn't be the same person.
I think for me as well, like the travel far away, there was usually for a longer time.
I love what flying does for me personally, but every single time I sit in an airplane, I have this like little evil voice in my head telling me you're a bad person because you sit in this airplane.
