[gentle music] Its zig-zagging tapestry of crags looming before you, graffitied and covered by both individual artworks and the recurring propaganda of the Deadwood Saint.
It's been about an hour into the climb at this point, as you all are winding your way up.
The heat beats down from above, merciless as you climb.
It'll take, in total, about a couple of hours to climb this thing, and thankfully, your journey has thus far gone unmolested, though it is a hazardous and troublesome climb as it goes.
It's around this point that we are coming up to the first proper obstacle of the climb that goes beyond just the zig-zagging crags.
One of the slopes that previously had been intact has since given way and caved out, and there's a pretty significant, uh, gap between where you are and where you would next be going.
A distance of about, about 15 feet across that you would need to, um, circumvent in some way.
How many feet of rope do we have again?
Uh, we've got about 100 feet of rope.
Mm, guess who picked up a grappling hook?
True, true, true.

So-
We got a carabiner as well.
Mm-hmm.
So plenty of stuff to help us climb.
So what's the approach here? Are you trying to hook it on the opposite surface? Uh, uh, reminding of the visuals here, we're kinda zig-zagging our way up.
We've all played those games in the arcade where you kind of try and rock the ball up the sides of this, uh, gradiated slope structure.
Similar to that, but, uh, much larger, and it's people going up it.
Um, are you trying to get the grappling hook just across the chasm you're trying to cross, or are you trying to hook it up above you and go, like, to the next rung of the lattice of cliff, as it were, and climb up?
Hmm.
Ooh, that could be interesting, 'cause yeah, I'm not sure if we wanna necessarily tightrope across.
