Melissa Robinson-WinemillerHostWell, I'm dying to dig in on this book because I mean, I'm really congratulations, by the way, because that's, you know, it helps when you have the right support system for sure.
So since you've seen leadership in a lot of different lenses and with a lot of different people and different organizations, what would you say, in your professional opinion, the biggest misconception is about leadership?

Yeah, that I think that people are innately born with some kind of magic leadership button or something that they can turn on or something like that, right? Exactly.

leader now, right? What are you talking about? I don't know how that happens.

Melissa, you know, Dr. Melissa, you know from being on my show, we talked a lot about empathy and things like that and that missing piece.

But I think where all of this starts is you sit a middle manager who was a, you take a top performer, right? He's your top sales guy.

Now leave 10 other humans who count on this for their livelihood, right? And let's make sure that they are top performers as well as you being a top performer.

We're not going to tell you what you might need to do better from coming from whatever you were doing before to leading humans.
