They beat the Spurs, and they got their statement victory to open the season against the team that ended their season last postseason.

The Thunder are now 1-0, open up the new NBA season in style, securing a huge victory over the Spurs.

SGA led the way with 32 points, JMac off of the bench with an electric 20-point outing, and Chet Holmgren, 14, JDub a dozen points.

Watching that game, I just wanted to make seven videos just sitting right there, but this is the one I had to make first.

Chet Holmgren got me fired up, man, with the intensity that he came out with, that he played with and dialed in.

And maybe it isn't entirely visible in the box score, right, how amazing this performance from Chet was, where he had 14 points on three of eight shooting, missed his only three-point attempt, adding seven rebounds, a pair of assists, and four blocks on the defensive end in his 30 minutes on the court, had a turnover, and had a minus one rating in the victory.

Not super eye-popping numbers from the guy, but when you watch the tape, and especially when you put it into the context of what we saw the very last game Chet Holmgren played, 142 days ago, that game seven of the Western Conference Finals, when you compare the tape from that day, that fateful, fateful night where OKC's season ended to tonight, I mean, it is a night and day difference when you're taking a look at the job, the attitude, the mentality that Chet Holmgren came in here with.
