This team, if they can handle San Antonio and do it consistently like they did last night, the rest of the league is going to have no idea how to handle this Thunder team.

Adai Mara, his NBA debut was shorter than what it probably could have been, getting him in some limited minutes, just 11 minutes, but he was plus 9 in those 11 minutes.

It wasn't necessarily about him putting up 15, 20, 25 points, having a dozen rebounds, having a bunch of assists.

It was what he did in the minutes that he was on the floor that led to the ultimate winning combination in this 116-104 victory.

meeting Wimby at the rim, rejecting him for his first career NBA block, and then running the length of the floor, getting down there into the interior, and finishing a lob on the other end.

I mean, it was stuff of poetry, and the Thunder, I mean, you cannot be more thrilled by what you have on your hands.

That stretch that I just showed you, Mark Dagnall coining it, one of the critical stretches of the game when the Thunder were able to really impose their will, grind down San Antonio, and run away with a game that they led by as much as 26 points, and they were ahead for 92% of this game, just over 44 minutes.

And the overall role for Adai Mara, he's going to have a chance to show why he deserves more and more and more and more minutes.
