The biggest question in today's video, what more can you do? Number two, the NBA GM survey, it came out earlier today, and it's a preseason poll where they ask the executives of each team all sorts of questions, a wide variety, where they go from the most fun team in the league to the most underrated player, all sorts of unique questions.

But they ask the basic heavy-hitting ones as well, such as the NBA champion, which we're gonna be covering in a separate video.

But they also ask who is gonna take home that MVP award at the season's end, and results on your screen right now, seventy-seven percent.

That is twenty-three out of thirty votes going to Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs, predicting that Wemby, twenty-three out of thirty people think that he is gonna take home his first career MVP award.

Not only that, we see second place, three votes, that's ten percent to Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, capturing his fourth MVP award of his career.

And then you have Anthony Edwards in that third place spot with a pair of votes of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

And then, and only then, do you see Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the honorable mentions also receiving votes category alongside Jayson Tatum, each of them receiving one, uno, singular votes for the MVP award this upcoming season.

And this is absolute blasphemy, absolute discredit and disrespect to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, right? We see that two of the three finalists take home the top two spots on this list, that being Nikola Jokic and Victor Wembanyama.

Maybe a Luka Dončić sneaks onto that list somewhere, but I could certainly see the case for a Wembanyama and a Jokic again being on the MVP list.

But to have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander below and Anthony Edwards on this list, it is absolute blasphemy to say that Shai has no chance at three-peating, essentially, is what the common consensus is for this preseason poll around the league.

I don't think he should have been a finalist over Luka last year, and my reason I would point to is offensive production, right? Because when you're taking a look at points per game plus assists per game, right? You see that the top three are, you know, the other guys that were in MVP consideration, being Luka, Jokic, and SGA.

And then a huge gap, twenty-fourth place in the league is Victor Wembanyama in points per game plus assists, AKA your offensive value, your offensive production.

And I'm doing Wembanyama a favor in the per game category because he's not even top twenty-five if you go total points scored and total assists.

A hundred out of a hundred votes, completely deserved transcendent defensive season last season.

However, I don't think he should've been an MVP finalist, and that's not what ended up happening, was him grabbing the MVP award.

Instead, we see Shai going back-to-back, grabbing the second MVP award in a row.

And when you take a look at what he did that season, I mean, very warranted is that MVP for Shai.

Basically, his recipe is winning, clutch time performances, efficient and consistent scoring.
