Zoe MeunierHost
So you had spent three decades treating women's bodies before you went through this yourself.

So what did your own menopause and the end of your relationship at that time, what did that teach you that your clinical training actually hadn't?
It really taught me that menopause is an opportunity for a reinvention, an initiation of sorts to who I think we're meant to be as women.
And interestingly, despite the despair and heartbreak and grief at the time of having to let go of an old identity, going through a relationship breakup, which was very, very heartbreaking to me, I think for the most part, it taught me that as women, we are really only just getting started when we go through the menopausal portal.
And I don't think that it gets talked about enough, Zoe, that It's an opportunity for us as women to almost start again in so many ways.
But we have to grieve the loss of a lot of our youthful ideals and ideations first.
And we also have to really question and challenge a lot of cultural norms as well.
