First of all, there's one that keeps popping up on this podcast, and I'm not the only person that's said it.

Your mum was a teacher, a reminder for you to do your homework, a reminder for you to revise.

So that's the first thing that keeps popping on this podcast, that parents can't just be parents.

If you can think back, did you know you were struggling or did you just think, well, this

is who I am? So that, this was the biggest realisation that I've had, mate, from coming on this pod, because I've had to have a think, right? You told me we're going to talk about, you know, your youth and then, right, and so on.

My behavior, right, led to people's expectations, which then fed into my identity, right? I think the way that I behaved, the way I went on, right, and that this goes up to kind of 35, by the way, right, lowered everyone's expectations of me, right? I remember all the eye rolls.

So all the eye rolls, you know, I'd say something that would even be mildly interesting that was true, right? Because I'll be totally frank with you, mate, I was a massive storyteller.

Because you say something interesting and you feel great when people react to you.

And the thing was that's important there is it didn't matter how they reacted, whether it was positive or negative, they reacted and that was what was important.
