as we know and as they say comparison really is the thief of joy and my decision to originally get botox was really rooted in comparison and really rooted in what i consider to be impossible society standards that are placed upon women And I remember that, especially on social media with some of the content creators and influencers that I follow or I would watch on YouTube, I started comparing my face to their face.

And I would think to myself, especially as I started to more closely get closer and closer to 30, I was like, why did their foreheads look different? so snatched? Why do they not have a wrinkle in sight? Like, why does their forehead not move? Why don't they have any 11 lines, which are the lines in between your eyebrows? And why does my face not look as glowy and glassy and youthful as these women's faces? Is there something wrong with me? And I'll never forget, there was an immersion that I went on in Miami with some of the women that were a part of a mastermind that I had been in.

And at that time, I was really starting to consider getting Botox because I was having these really negative thoughts about my face, my appearance, and comparing myself to other people.

And I remember I was standing at one point in this circle with some of the women on the mastermind trip.

And I'm like, why do I have these wrinkles? And I'm looking at these women and their faces don't move.

You know, some people feel like the wrinkles beside their eyes when they smile or even their smile lines, that's something that they don't enjoy.
