Brian SpielmannHostI didn't have a ton of trainings that really wove them together, not just as a concept, but as an embodied practice.

Like, how do you balance possibly having a roadmap where you want to go with a client and also listening? Because again, when I see you do demos, you really pick up nuances.

Like you blinked when I said that, what's going on? Like, so how do you, exactly what you're saying.
Yeah, well, again, I think it's it's an art learned over time, for sure.
I think that our fast, intuitive, sub cortical brains already have all the maps we need to get from here to where we're going.
they are helped deeply by having a consensus on what that destination might be.
And so the first thing I get really clear on when I'm working is wait, where are we going? And I can feel it I do.
Like, I can feel it when we hit it because the tuning fork happens in the middle of my body.
It's like a little like somebody hit a harmony note like, But it happens right up my center.
And then usually if I say whatever it is, I think, oh, are we going here? There's a ton of resonance in the room and we go, yeah, that's where we're going.
And then once I do that, I let go and have I have no idea what map we're about to find.
So I think it's like I think what it feels like in the room is like expansion and contraction rhythms to me where I'm like, ooh, I'm really narrow and I'm doing a thing.
Now I'm doing a thing and now I'm letting go and seeing what happens next.
Or to lean into Dan Siegel's way of thinking about it, he would say, oh, you move from open plane of possibility to a slightly more narrow plateau of what's possible to an action.
And then there's that moment of peak activation where you actually do the thing, and then you drop back into open plane of possibility.
