The Zone Wednesday 10/21 Hour 3

I'm happy to report that the Arkansas State Fair is doing very, very well.

And today is Military Appreciation Day, offering free gate admission all day to military personnel and up to four immediate family members with a valid ID.

So get out there and take advantage of it.

Had a great day on Monday.

It was absolutely jam-packed.

Really busy yesterday, too.

So anyway, lots of cool stuff happening out there, and I want you to take advantage of it.

All right, new song out from a guy who's been dead for a minute, David Allen Coe.

This new song came out in the last week, and it's a whole new album, I guess, that they have pulled together.

It's been rumored that it was out there for years.

He, let's see, David Allen Co-Manager and former partner Ken Madsen acquired the master recordings from Average Joe's, which is their entertainment company, I guess, to begin the process of completing the project for release.

It's called A Million Reasons, and it came out this last week.

And it's got a song.

Did you know that he wrote Take This Job and Shove It, by the way, that Johnny Paycheck made famous? I didn't know that.

I didn't either.

I should have known that by now.

Anyway.

I only heard the one song, but he name drops our own Justin Moore in the song.

And again, remember this

was recorded 10 years ago.

Yes, in a very good way.

And a lot of other people, actually.

But this was recorded back in 2017.

I'm just going to play a little bit of it until we get to the Justin Moore part.

But it's cool.
