What Hanging out with CBUM Taught Me about Business

c bum has built not only his own personal brand but other businesses raw nutrition bum energy revive ownership in other brands and other stakes this guy is crushing it now you would think with such success comes a huge ego but this is basically the first lesson is don't be a meathead so when i was hanging out with chris and i was asking him even back in the day before he even won a mystery olympia and i was asking him what his kind of goals were like with his bodybuilding stuff and he was like man i didn't even know if i'll do bodybuilding for that much longer and i was like what do you mean he goes like i mean i love it but like It's not my end goal.

I don't want to just be a bodybuilder.

He wanted to be a business owner.

He wanted to have a family.

He wanted to do all this stuff.

And I was like, fuck, that's cool.

But like, it's like same, obviously, right? That's like, I didn't want to just be a bodybuilder ever.

Fucking couldn't have even if I wanted to, but I wanted more things from my life and business.

And that just made me think, don't be the meathead, especially if we love fitness.

The thing most people do is I need to get bigger.

I need to learn more about coaching and things like that, as opposed to becoming a business owner, becoming multifaceted.

building your personal brand so it's so strong that you can basically do anything.

So you need to be the talent, but you also need to run the business.
