Frank, I understand this involves a house-sitting job from years ago.

Well, it's kind of a weird story.

My mom worked for a guy named Jared.

He had a business that was going to take him overseas for six weeks and needed a house sitter.

My mom recommended me to house sit since I had just finished college and not started my first job.

Mom thought it would be a nice little break before getting out into the real world because it's a really nice house.

Yeah, I mean, that's a sweet gig right there.

I mean, fantastic.

Free rent for six weeks, nice pad to live in.

So I think most people right out of college would take that offer pretty much.

It's a

really nice house.

Yeah.

Everything was agreed upon.

Watch the house, watch the garden, et cetera, et cetera.

Well, everything seemed to be going fine for the first week.

And it was like two stories, got a pool, nice garden, no dogs to take care of or anything like that.

It was on new development that recently gentrified the whole community.

What'd they do to the community, would you say?

They gentrified it.

Essentially, they just got rid of all the poor people and built nice properties on it.

Well, I got to be honest, your description of gentrified is, it's not exactly wrong.

And I do think it's crappy when people are treated so poorly and there does not seem to be much consideration to them.
