So what are you wearing?

Well, yesterday I wore my Ebbetts Cardigan, which is a pattern by Elizabeth Doherty.

I think I wear that a lot this time of year because I knit mine in a linen yarn, which is light and not too warm and really good for changing or variable temperatures.

Ebbetts is a textured longer cardigan with open fronts that was originally written for a wool yarn.

And like I said, I took a chance to knit it in linen, and it worked for me.

I really like it.

Produced a very drapey fabric.

I also love the fact that if it gets wrinkled, just like any other linen, you can throw it in the dryer to smooth it-

That's very nice

... and iron it.

Don't have to be fragile with it.

Linen is such a versatile fiber.

It can take the heat.

So I really like that.

I would consider making it again in wool.

And since this is apparently my year of making things again, it's probably-

Hmm

... it's on that list.

I don't know if I would actually finish it this year, but it's, it's a possibility.
