Brooke BrayloveGuestMathildeHostHello and welcome back to the world's tightest community.
I'm your host, Mathilde, and today I'm joined by Brooke Braylove, a psychotherapist and sex therapist, to talk about something called accelerated resolution therapy, also referred to as ART.
It works really differently from regular talk therapy.
Instead of processing things over years, ART uses rapid eye movements and image replacement to actually change how the brain stores distressing memories, often in just one to five sessions.
and shares some stories of how it's worked for her clients with pelvic pain, medical trauma, and more.
We also get into the science of why the eye movements seem to help and how she holds hope for people who've already tried everything.
Brooke is such an intriguing, interesting, compassionate person, and I think you will enjoy this conversation just as much as I did.
