I'm a fairly new listener of the pod and was inspired to send you my own what I wanted versus what I bought.
This might be a little long, but I'm a yapper and love to add context.
So feel free to cut this down as you see fit.
As a background, I originally rode as a junior on the AQHA circuit Showing in hunter classes and ended up showing my final junior year and early adult years doing some USCF shows and even ended up going to the very first Southeast metal finals to compete in the three foot metal finals in 2012.
If that doesn't date me, I don't know what will.
I sold my junior horse in 2014 and took a long break from riding until the summer of 2021 when I was settled into my career and finally had the funds to start taking lessons again.
It only took about four months before I got the horse bug again and decided it was time to finally buy another
horse.

I feel like that's a thing that happens, though, when people, like, have adult money.
Yes.
They get into horses.
They realize that they're still obsessed.
Or, like, if they're a beginner beginner, they, like, become obsessed and they're like, well, I have the money.
Yeah, why not? Um, so what she wanted 16.2 to 17.1.
