I had this vision around wanting to share all the different parts of the work that I do.

And that meant coming in with this really... studied anatomy lens, which, I mean, you've all been listening.

So a huge part of how I feel confident in my teaching is because I have studied the body.

And so I wanted to be able to offer that to people that I was working with in a way that felt really digestible and not overwhelming.

And then I wanted to offer a component of embodiment to learn, okay, like what do we do to support our feet? What does it look like? What kinds of exercises strengthen the feet? How do we spread our toes out? How do we build stronger arches? how do we walk better? And, you know, that comes a lot in my Pilates background, like really understanding movement.

And then I also wanted to be able to bring in my background of poetry, essentially, and reflection and writing and to offer an opportunity for those who are curious to their story and about yes and to reflect on how have I gotten to the point that I'm here what's brought me here what story do my feet want to tell what do I want to tell my feet and so It wasn't called the Wise Body Immersion back in 2020, but we journeyed through different regions of the body, starting with the feet, moving to the pelvis, up into the core, into the ribs, the shoulders, up into the head and the neck, circling back in to understand our nervous system, to understand rest, to understand play.

to bring it all together into a cohesive flow and last year i had this spark like okay it's time to bring that back again and it's gonna look a little different this time because i live remotely and um want to offer it online and so i I remade the program with five more years of knowledge and studying and brought it all and also integrated a deep community component to it too.

So that we would not only traverse the education, the embodiment and the reflection, but also witness each other in our experiences and our story, be able to tell someone the story of our shoulders or head and neck and be heard.

It feels like immense and it really, like the program is immense, but it's also really digestible.

So I brought this to life for September again and we're journeying for three months with weekly calls together and traveling through all of these different parts of our bodies.
about it.
Oh, I'm excited for the women who are signing up and who are going to be able to walk in one side with whatever knowledge, whatever kind of connection they have with their bodies.
And I suspect that even if you have a really solid awareness of your body, you're going to learn a lot anyways.
Yeah.
I have a physiology and anatomy courses that I've taken.
I'm like, I know I would definitely still learn something from
