This conversation explores one of the biggest questions modern parents face: **Should we post our kids online?** Rather than offering rules or easy answers, we unpack the nuance behind child privacy…
I feel like a good place to start with this conversation might be the fact that you made a change on social media with choosing not to show your daughter's face anymore.
And we just talked about it.
You gave me more information this past week.
And so, yeah, I think it would be maybe a good place to start with just you having that change.
and how that decision came through and what were the factors for you? And then maybe we can talk about some other
broad
strokes.
Yeah,
cool.
Yeah, so I made a post maybe like two weeks ago that I was going to be no longer posting Rhea's face on social media.
And context for those who are listening who maybe have found us recently is I have been online for almost 15 years now.
And through my journey, my life journey, I've done modeling, fitness, built businesses, disappeared, came back.
And so the following that I've amassed has... been gathered throughout all those phases.
And So this isn't just like I have a private page and it's with my family and friends and I'm posting my child online.
It's like this is my public page that has been my public persona, which my public persona is pretty much just who I am at the moment.
Like it's you know, it's not like I am overly performative, but I mean,
and just for more context, you at a point had a million followers.
Yeah.
A huge audience.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was, I mean, at one point, 1.5 million.
And then once I stopped modeling, I mean, a lot of people, and then I built a brand for women.
And so a lot of my male following was like, okay, this isn't relevant to me anymore and unfollowed.
And I'm grateful for that.
