**What if aging isn't something to fight—but something to embrace?** In this episode of **The Woman Within Podcast**, we're diving into beauty standards, natural aging, Botox, cosmetic procedures…
Well, I mean, as
a female, as a woman, I think it's something that we have to.
We have we start having a relationship, whether we want to or not, typically at a really young age.
And, you know, especially with young women now who are growing up now, who are adolescents now, the age of social media and, you know, that pressure.
Because I think before, you know, movie stars and actors were kind of like the...
You know, they were the goal for beauty standards and all of that.
And and yeah, so I just think like it's something we peer pressure like I was in dance.
And so how you look is a part of that culture.
And so just like being in in that, I think the adolescence is probably like when we start really meeting people.
our relationship with beauty and what our friends are doing.
And like, again, I was kind of pre social media.
And so, you know, it wasn't it wasn't as influential.
But I remember like my friends would start doing stuff and they were dying their hair.
And I'm like, oh, you know, it just makes you question what what you want to do.
And and like, yeah.
And so I think it's just something that whether we're ready for it or not, it becomes part of our female experience.
And then, you know, as we age, I think the people we're around definitely, I think, influences it as well.
And just being, you know, again, if you have friends who are doing certain things, you have that peer pressure, like, you don't want to be the only one who's not doing something or, you know, whatever it may be.
So I think it's just like the societal norm to Want to be beautiful.
Yeah.
To want to be beautiful and want to be wanted.
And then there's like the, you know, the...
To want to be wanted, you just said? Yeah.
That's part of it too, that desirability.
It doesn't say men.
