It was a fun ride while it lasted and it was amazing to see the country getting behind us all and all the boys.
And yeah, it was so enjoyable to see our team back on the world stage and doing our thing.
But ultimately, yeah, we set out with a goal and that goal was to progress to the group stages and make history, I think was the coined phrase.
But yeah, I think as most people are, there's probably an underlining disappointment because we expect so much from that group.
And that's an amazing place to be, I think, in New Zealand football where... our fans and the group are expecting us to progress out of the group.
So pretty flat because, like I said, it's come to an end, and we're going to have to wait another four years for it to happen again.
I think we should have got that game won, potentially picked up a draw in the second game and wouldn't be worrying about trying to beat Belgium, who on the day were just too good.
I think once they clicked into gear, which we talked about on the pod, you know, just over a week ago, if they click into gear, we're in trouble.
And then you see the gap, you know, with the lowest ranked team playing a team that are In the top 10 in 2018, they finished third.
I think it's kind of normal now that we expect to mix it with these sorts of countries.
