So what I wanna start with is kinda big-picture takeaways, and I say big picture, it's five camp practices.
Really, you start to learn stuff when the joint practices hit, when the preseason games hit, and you don't really know everything till the regular season comes.
But we have five practices under our belt, and we're gonna talk about football because we've had m- six months without football.
Um, my first big-picture thought watching these first practices is Brandon Cisse's gonna have a legit chance to earn a day-one starting spot.
Might be an overreaction, but he's run with the ones when Keon Nixon was nursing a hamstring injury to start camp.
He's running with the ones now because Carrington Valentine is now nursing a hamstring injury.
I know he's not in the starting lineup yet because of performance necessarily over injury.
I know St. Juste missed the o, uh, offseason program with a shoulder injury, but Cisse's been making plays.
I know the coaches like what they see out of him, and they're not just throwing him in there 'cause he's a second-round pick.
He's looked like he can handle his own in what we've seen of 11 on 11 so far.
I'm not gonna sit here and say he's gonna start week one, but he's gonna have a chance to really make this a difficult decision.
I, I believe this whole room is up for the pickings, is up for grabs, and quite frankly, when you say running with the ones, he's doing exactly that.
How about that play today running downfield, uh, to, uh, step-for-step with Christian Watson, who's one of the fastest guys on the Packers offense, one of the fastest wide receivers in the league.
So yeah, Bra- Brandon Cisse, he's gonna have an opportunity, and you're right, we don't know a lot yet.
