Yeah, so I actively took lessons a- as a violinist, a violist, and a flutist.

I was the person who thought that was interesting and thought that would be fun.

I wanted to learn to play the piano, but my piano teacher was mean when I was little, and I quit, and I never took it back up.

So I quit playing piano as a little kid, but I started playing the violin when I was in third grade.

My brother played the viola initially, so I was not allowed to play the viola 'cause my parents didn't want us to compete until we were in high school, and they're like, "Eh, you probably won't kill each other now," and I was able to then pivot over and be a violist.

And I liked the idea of playing the flute, I think even more than I liked playing the flute.

But I did quit when my options were, um, keep playing the flute or be in marching band, and I did not wanna march.
