It's like how they sell ice baths now that we've seen that there aren't really any health benefits-
these past six years, I've gotten a lot of flack because I stopped the deadlifting and I started to critique the deadlift as a, as a lift that everybody needs to be doing.
Uh, that's my main gripe with deadlifts, that it's like a holy grail of lifts.
Uh, the, the squat, the bench press, the deadlift, everybody should be doing them.
But for me and a lot of other people, the deadlift might not love us back as much as we, uh, try to tell ourselves that we love the deadlift.
And I mean, if you are an older person, uh, finding, uh, the barbell in the gym for the first time, you might discover that the deadlift is quite awkward for you as a lift, and you could spend a lot of time learning it, and, and you might even become good at deadlifts after a year or two or 10.
