125 | Heartland Championship Wrestling with Dave Little

I am super excited for this episode because I am joined by another promoter for a deep dive into their wrestling federation and the way that they play tabletop pro wrestling games.

Kind of focused on the Filsinger Games games, but I think we might get into a few others as well.

My guest this time, I'm super excited to welcome, long overdue, the man behind Heartland Championship Wrestling is the one and only Dave Little.

Dave, welcome to the show.

Thank you, Grant.

It is great to be here.

I am super excited to have you here.

I know we talked about having you on months and months ago, and then life gets in the way, but now you're here, and I'm super excited to chat with you because you are somebody who is a big inspiration to me.

I watch your live streams regularly.

And I think you really do a great job with them.

And I want to do a deep dive into Heartland Championship Wrestling.

But I want to know if you can give us a brief overview of how your Fed began and how long you've been playing it.

Oh, gosh.

I got started way back in, I think, 2005, I think.

I was still living in Dayton, Ohio, and I attended the Origins Game Conference in Columbus.

And that's where I met Tom.

And he showed me the game and I thought it was really cool.

And then we saw each other again in 2006.

And that's when I bought all the stuff and Heartland Championship Wrestling was born.

So, yeah, we're coming up on 20 years this October.
