I want to start by talking about the thing nobody says out loud, right? The fantasies that show up that you think you would never actually choose in real life, but it keeps kind of showing up at just those moments.

And I think the tendency that I see that I've personally experienced that my clients have brought to me is this concern that it means something, that I should be worried about it, that it says something about me or how fucked up I am or not.

It's like, does it mean anything? Should I be worried about it? And if so, Like when? Talk to
I mean, I think what happens is like usually fantasies, they clash with who the person thinks they should be.
So a lot of times, especially if you're like a really independent woman, you might have a fantasy of surrender.
Like that's who I'm so like, I have everything together, but life is about duality.
So if you're in charge and in control all the time, it actually makes so much sense that you have a, like a fantasy about surrender.
You're fucking doing everything, you know, but in their mind, it's like, They have to be this one way.
So the shame, there's so much shame around these like secret fantasies and it's so deep and it's tied to like puritanical culture and women weren't really taught.
It was like the inner critic inside being like, you shouldn't even be thinking that.
It's like, what are you making the fantasy mean about you? Like, you're asking yourself, Oh, my God, I have this fantasy, you're judging what it means about you, where it's like, this is just something that's living in your imagination.
