You grew up in Geelong.
You know, where did your love of sport originate, Mark?

If there was a big moment, I remember in summer, you know, we'd be kids running around under the sprinkler in Geelong at the front of the house.

And if there was a great moment at the Australian Open tennis, she'd bring us all in.

Dad was a doer, so Dad played footy, played for St. Mary's in Geelong, played AFL.

I think that's also where my... my love of sports commentary came from was, you know, just watching mum calling us in and watching so many hours of TV and watching, you know, the Bruce McIvanes and Sandy Roberts and all those guys who went before me and I was lucky enough to work with.

I was... four and a half years old i couldn't swim so dad was very clever he was a bit of a bit of an innovator he put a life jacket on me and he put one on the front one on the back so i would bob up and down like a cork in the ocean and um and yeah i learned to ski and just loved it and it you know it was a wonderful sport made great mates still my best mates my old skiing mates so yeah good times
Well, and then now I want to get this right so I'll read it.
